Exposition text is a text that elaborates the writer’s idea about the phenomenon surrounding.

~ Purpose ~ 

• To persuade the readers that idea is important matter. 
• To persuade the readers or listeners that there is something that, certainly, needs to get attention.
• To analyze a topic and to persuade the reader that this opinion is correct and supported by arguments.

~ Generic structure ~

       1.      Thesis (Introduction): Introducing the topic and indicating the writer’s position

       2.      Arguments (Body): Explaining the arguments to support the writer’s position.

       3.      Reiteration (Conclusion): Restating the writer’s position.

  The Magical of Music in Life 

I personally think that music is one of the most important thing in our life. music is a part of our life. music is completing our day. music is the most faithful best friend and music is always willing to fill your loneliness. so, music has a magical powers. i do believe that. why? here are some reasons why music is heard in everywhere and anywhere.

Firstly, music is a way to express our feelings. when you fall in love, heartbroken, happy, mourning, loneliness, cheerful, just all kinds of feelings can be expressed through music.Besides music can express feelings, music can even change the feeling. when you are desperate and sad, and then you hear a song that is cheerful and motivate you, then you come back feeling optimistic and uplifting. how magical music is!

Second, music can unite people for a cause and changes the world. A song with good lyric and striking deep chord can stimulate the universal feeling of all people. 

Third, as an unstable teenager, who has a lot of problems with love or lessons, you must urgently need friends to share and want to hear your story. at the moment no one can accompany you, music can replace a friend to fill the loneliness. and it was enough to work!

the other reason as long as you know, Song can help to memorize the last experiences. A favorite song is a powerful documentary. People with Alzheimer which are impaired the brain would remember details about songs they were familiar with. For example, an elderly woman who couldn’t even remember her husband’s name would remember the details of her favorite song; when it was played, how it made her feel and things about the song that made it especially memorable for her.

So what would the world be like without music? It would be lonely.

Global Warming

As we know now, global warming which is happening right now has a very big impact on natural conditions, animals and humans. Well, do you know how global warming which has a particularly serious impact on life happens? To know the process of how this phenomenon occurs, see the following explanation.

The process starts when sunlight shines the earth where most of the heat is absorbed by the earth and a half of it is reflected back onto the air (atmosphere). Sunshine returning to the air is trapped by gases in the atmosphere such as carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, methane, water vapor, and so on. This event is known as the greenhouse effect.

Solar radiation on the earth's atmosphere makes ozone layer get thinner and makes the sunlight which shines the Earth become hotter. The greenhouse effect also causes the sunlight which is reflected back onto space is reflected back into the earth. This phenomenon causes the earth continuously getting hotter. This condition is known as global warming.

COVID-19 PANDEMIC

 Hello Everyone!

How are you?

I hope you are always healthy.

Today, I will discuss about the Covid-19 pandemic.

The corona virus or Covid-19 has spread in various countries, Including Indonesia. Currently the government is urging Indonesians to stay at home and wear masks when leaving the house. Besides that, we are also encouraged toimplement home learning and work from home programs. This is to prevent the spread of covid-19.

Currently, a healthy and clean lifestyle has become a habit to apply.                                   Here is a healthy and clean lifestyle that you should still do :

• Increase your intake of nutritious food.
• Get enough water. Drinking at least 8 glasses a day can help the body.
• Regular exercise. Entering the new normal, you should still get used to exercising before doing daily activities.
• Get enough rest. Try to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep per day.
• Help with a multivitamin.
• Use a mask when going out of the house.
• Apply physical distancing.
• Wash your hands regularly.
• Clean the surface of the object with a disinfectant.

During the quarantine at home, I participated in home activities learning. Home learning is andistance learning online-based. While attending home learning I felt both joy and sorrow. His joy is that I can study at home in a relaxed manner such as studying while eating, listening to music and doing many other things. Then, for sadness, I felt that the assignments were too many and carried on continuously, sometimes I was so busy chasing tasks that I forgot the time. In addition, learning is also ineffective because we have to understand the material independently. There are several materials that can be understood by yourself but are not as easy to explain directly by the teacher at school. Especially math.

The online learning system implemented by my school through the watch or smart application. There are also assignments sent via email and uploaded to the blog.

Sometimes I feel bored because I have to stay at home. but I have to face it for the good of us all. I hope the Covid-19 pandemic ends soon and we can all resume normal activities.

NARRATIVE TEXT

 

     Definition of Narrative Text        

Narrative text is a text to retell the story that past tense and to entertain the readers.

     Generic Structure of Narrative Text      

• Orientation : It is about the opening paragraph where the characters of the story are introduced.
• Complication : Where the problems in the story developed. 
• Resolution : Where the problems in the story is solved. 
• Reorientation : The problem (the crisis) is resolved, either in a happy ending or in a sad (tragic) ending.
• Coda :  lesson from the story.

      Purpose of Narratve Text       

– The Purpose of Narrative Text is to amuse or to entertain the reader with a story.

      Example of Narrative Text      

Here is an example of  a Narrative Text.

Fox and A Cat

One day, a cat and a fox were having a conversation. The fox, who was a conceited creature, boasted how clever she was. “Why, I know at least a hundred tricks to get away from our mutual enemies, the dogs,” she said.

“I know only one trick to get away from dogs,” said the cat. “You should teach me some of yours!”.

“Well, maybe someday, when I have the time, I may teach you a few of the simpler ones”, replied the fox airily.

Just then they heard the barking of a pack of dogs in the distance. The barking grew louder and louder – the dogs were coming in their direction! At once the cat ran to the nearest tree and climbed into its branches, well out of reach of any dog. “This is the trick I told you about, the only one I know”, said the cat. “Which one of your hundred tricks are you going to use?”.

The fox sat silently under the tree, wondering which trick she should use. Before she could make up her mind, the dogs arrived. They fell upon the fox and tore her to pieces.

Moral: A single plan that works is better than a hundred doubtful plans.
